Swedish Style

Elegant units with a classic look and clean simple lines.

Swedish Style Structure

Swedish Style units are a variation on the Shaker Style, they have have simple square‑framed doors, flat recessed panels, and a single-profile edge. The simple structure gives the units a neat, clinical look, but they are more country than your classic shaker style kitchen cupboards.

Cornice

The Swedish Style Cornice overlaps by 50mm in total (25mm on each side), it is 40mm thick and has a simple profile which compliments the classic style of the units.

Swedish Style Paint Finish

These units are a smooth matt finish. The colour is more stark white than a soft white but without being harsh on the eye. The edges are sanded back a little to reveal a dark stain. The tops are stained light brown.

While we can paint any of your units in Stoney Grey, this is not a recommended colour for Swedish Style units. This colour has a different effect on African Allure units because the African Allure range is manufactured with a much rougher texture compared to the other two ranges. Please refer to the below photo of Swedish Style units in Stoney Grey.

Colours used on Swedish Style Units

All the colours are interchangeable between the units. For a more worn shabby look you can ask for extra distressing of your units. You can also ask us to paint your units flat and not sand edges.
